The Prize Pool
50% to Winners
5% Burns Losers
50% of all mint revenue accumulates in the winner's prize pool. When the World Cup Final is played, holders of staked cards from the winning national team split it proportionally. The remaining 5% goes to a burn pool — cards from every eliminated team are burned, shrinking the collection and concentrating rewards for surviving holders.
The other 45% drives live gameplay rewards: 35% streams to staked-card holders across every match event throughout the tournament, and 10% pays $K9 stakers as passive yield from every Pup Cup mint.
Team assignment is revealed 2 weeks after the mint closes — creating a second layer of speculation and trading on the secondary market before teams are known.
